The Back-ho

This is our back-ho, affectionately called by Nate and Jeremy, "Backy". She comes in really handy in a lot of situations, like when we need to dig a ditch or lift something really heavy. She has a front end loader and a ho on here rear end. She can be a bit tempermental though. Her breaks don't really work so shifting is the only way to slow her down when riding around the hills at camp. Her controls are also a bit 'touchy' so you don't really want to be within about 100 feet of her at any time since her ho tends to swing recklessly even under an experienced operator.

All in all she has been a wonderful peice of machinery for us, saving us a ton of time and energy. Truth is there are a lot of things we couldn't do here without her. We hope to be upgrading to a newer John Deere tractor with a lift and ho attachmend sometime in the next few years or perhaps try to get ourselves a Bobcat. Until then our "Backy" will just have to keep on truckin.
