Busy Day

Today we accomplished alot as we had quite a few visitors on our grounds. Jeremy White was here working with Tom on getting our Outdoor Adventure elements inspected. Paul Beem and Chuck Darnell (our electricians) also were here pulling down powerlines and taking out posts that are no longer necessary because we have been trying to bury lines recently. Here you see Jeremy strolling underneath Paul's truck which is making a bridge as they had some of the lines cut loose.

This is the one and only David Sargent, who happens to have been blessed to now be part of the maintenance crew as the ESBS students have moved work duties again. He has been attending the ESBS all year along with the other 5 students. David has been the Program Coordinator here for the past two summers and will be returning again this year to entertain us. You'll have a hard time finding a more sacrificing disciple, not to mention that he's probably the most funny and creative person you could ever meet. He helped us for a solid 3 hours today doing yard work as we managed to clean up most of the Camp Care memorial garden and mow all the lawns besides our two large fields which will get a run with the riding mower soon.
Here's Matt and Big Nate working on the yard at our off-campus house which has been named the "White" house. This is where Jeremy and his family stayed this past summer but will become the Pastor's house as they move into the Walled-Off for the coming summers. We blitzed their yard in about 30 mins and gave it a quick overhaul since David and Matt were helping us for the afternoon.
Today was quite successful as all of our OA elements passed their inspection, Paul and Chuck survived another day working together, and we got all the grass cut down. The camp is looking wonderful, we can't wait to see all the dogwoods fully in bloom, they're trying.
