Tom's Poem

A poem for Tom Phillips, whom you have all become recently aquainted with. Monday morning we, in a moment of inspiration, came up with a wonderful thought. So we found this poem by Bob Gugelmeyer that was written for Tom and shared it with the ESBS during one of their shorts class breaks. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Tom afterwards said that the few minutes spent were a "gross misappropriation of resources" but he says that about a lot of the stuff we do. We think he just says that because he likes us and wants to use big words because he is a bible teacher.

A poem by Bob Gugelmeyer... inspired by Tom
Dumb Tree Dumb
Why should a tree flower lost when there is still a chance of frost?
Why does a tree grow to the sky? Does it want to fly?
Why will it grow where I want to mow?
To kill a tree is nothing to me
If it were Tom, we'd love it like our mom
